Update: After a kitchen fire sometime mid-2000s (maybe 2005?), the Yankee Silversmith Inn was razed and has become an overflow parking lot for the Sonic restaurant adjacent to the property on what used to be the Yankee's parking lot. The dining rail car that was the property's showpiece was removed and sent to a train lot in Willimantic.
