My friend and I parked the car and started to walk down the road. I could see ghosts existing but was never a believer....until that night. We started walking down the road and we could hear something walking in the leaves near us. We stopped and looked but nothing there. We walked a little further on the road and stopped again, this time we heard something screaming and something slam and then something start walking towards us rapidly. We ran back to the car and drove out to the last part of spook road, a bridge overlooking a creek. There we heard children giggling. I was beyond terrified and I will never go back.

Okay so me and my friend have been going here for a couple weeks now the cemetery is very old and over grown , the cemetery is also on maps for iPhones it is called pleasant hill in sreana. Its a long road to get there but once you are there it’s so beautiful at night and during the day the bridge is super cool . Nothing scary has happen it also is RIGHT next to a house but just don’t be loud and they wont call the cops lol!

I was out there in 1982 and you could hear sounds of a car crashing off bridge,woman screaming,breaking glass and then the bridge started bleeding, years later we went back down there again and forces in the cemetery clearly made it known that you were not welcome, in the daytime a pretty place but after dark hell no

18th Rd. The road dips on both sides and in the mile is the bridge. Look to your right and you will see a road with a white no trespassing sign. It's not directly in Ottawa IL but outside of it. Take the road past Arby's. It's about a 10min drive.

Me and my friends have been recently going out there for about a month now and each time we go out there we go around 2am and sit on the bridge with the car turned off and all of the windows rolled down. The last time we went down there we saw a light that was vertical with a dark figure standing infront of it. Soon after that we heard rapid footsteps approaching the car. Everyone screamed and then we drove off. We went there one more time after that to visit the cemetery and we didn't see anything until we got to the bridge on our way back to Ottawa and my 2 friends got out and started walking. They got to where we couldn't see them anymore, and after a couple of minutes they started running like they've never ran before. They got back to the car and they're faces were white and pale. They wouldn't tell us what happened. All they said was "go".

i live in the big brick house a little passed the bridge!! its scary how i hear all these freaky stories about spook road when i live on it!! :( ive lived here for 8 years

the road is located about 2 miles from 34 on 23 south right above the hill going towards ottawa you will take that road till you see a t in the road it will be going back into the woods. the whole back ground on it is that their was a indian massacure back their their used to be a insane asyulm back their thier is reports of the kkk back their a feshly married couple drownd in the creek back in the late 1800s or early 1900s before the bridge was thier. the whole area at 3am is filled with spearit im tellin you i wont go back their inless its day time my buddies name was on the bridge an every time he goes back their somthing chases him out their is also a sationic barn way back in the woods dont go their its bad you will see people an you will get scratched out of no where
