My father told me this story of when he was young he pulled over on this road , which at the time was a dirt road . to eat his lunch, he told me that a lady appeared and asked him" have you seen my baby?" , " No mame, I havent" he turned to bite his sandwhich and turned back she was gone. He said he later found out that a young lady had a really bad car accident on this road. here car turned over and here baby went out the window. the lady was rushed to the hospital were she died from her injuries. the infant was searched for but never found. law enforcement speculate that wild dogs ate the baby. my dad said she continues to walk the woods asking have you seen my baby.
