Noblesville Middle School- The Red Hallway

The red hallway is said to be known as a place where a cheerleader of the school was murdered on homecoming night by a janitor.


Though there is no online evidence of this happening, some students have gathered their own evidence. Some have ventured into the hallway, locked at all times so no one can enter.

The janitor supposedly murdered this cheerleader in the bathroom upstairs in the hallway, and painted the walls with her blood. The hallway is on the school map, but none of the 4 class rooms are numbered on the map, and the school uses the rooms for storage.

Students have asked teachers and staff about whether the rumor is true or not, and their response was always the same " We can't talk about that ".

If the rumor wasn't true, then wouldn't the school utalize those rooms, and the teachers wouldn't care if you talked about it or not. Big bleached out stains on the floor is some evidence that this could possibly be real, and putting two and two together isn't hard.

I am the new janitor at what is now Ivy Tech College in Noblesville. The Red Hallway is still there, untouched and always locked. We get fire alarm warning about every other month from that hallway and whenever I go up there strange things happen around the building for at least a week. The elevator won't open right away, toilets flush continuously until someone walks in there, or just an ominous heavy feeling. I personally believe in ghost and I have probably push my luck "taunting" the ghost. At first I thought is was a just a fun story of an old building but working here for about a year, I've seen some strange things.

Before ivy tech bought it I went in there with two of my friends during a girls eighth grade basketball game held in the main gym... When we got there we went up the staircase and the door was already unlocked.. #freaky ... Anyways, as we entered there was just a long hallway with Red CARPET not walls. The walls were white. They had writing on them with red that was a bloody shade but I highly doubt it. The writing had said stuff like turn around or he'll get you too. There was about 5 other doors on the left side wall which were locked. Except the very end of the hallway, which had no door. Just a dark room which I didn't go into lol! Because of how many scary stories and movies I have seen, I had my friend Kennedy hold the door we entered threw open so it wouldn't shut on us XD! Anyways, me and my friend Regan went threw the hallway and we did peak into a few of the classrooms. Two had stuff like desks, and one Was empty. But the second to last one had a cheerleader uniform and the colored lockers. It was pretty chilly in the hallway so once Regan and I kept walking after seeing that, we both stopped a few feet before entering the final open room, and we both suddenly got extremely hot and panicked, so Regan,Kennedy, and I all sprinted out of the hallway and returned to the game. (After getting some pics XD)

this is en fact not true this was a scam put on by some people back then my mom was good friends with these people but was not apart of it nothing really happened they simply painted the red with PAINT and put some stuff on the ground to make it seem real. I mean think about it people if there was a school murder not shooting murder then the school would be closed and torn to the ground plus the school was actually going to be the jail but then they made a better one with a bigger property.

So you know the entry way by the bleachers. Me and some girls went into them! There is blood on the walls and that bathroom leads to the hallway. My friend went through it and said there was in fact a blood stain on the, well every where. I went in there and she wasn't kidding. But on the floor next to the blood painted wall was a bracelet that said Gabriella Mashire. I looked in my moms year book cause when it was a highschool she went there, and Gabriella Mashire was a cheerleader. And at the end it said "Gabriella Mashire misteriously disappeared 2 months ago,". It was really creepy... That's all I have to say

Yes, and no. Dennis didn't harm anybody, but then again he did something that we can probably both agree was next to criminally insane. He didn't paint the walls with blood either.. There was no murder. Since I have seen him, Dennis has claimed to have patched up his friendship with Emma and that they are actually good friends now. It's really a poetic story haha. I mean, you don't hear this type of story everyday. Am I correct? Rest assured, they are both okay and both graduated from Noblesville Middle School (then high school) just fine :)

The scissors was a project that the Noblesville Middle School had made to represent the equality of both males and females. It originally stood at the top of the bleachers so everyone could see it. Sadly, many people are untrustworthy over there and we had to replace the damn thing four or five times. So, we were through and decided to put the mural of the Male Miller, and Female Miller in the red hallway. Dennis did write more stuff in the hallway too. Look for writings that say "End you now" and "You will never escape" and if you're lucky you'll see the faded words "Die, Die, Die, my darling" from the band The Misfits. Good luck though. It's on the ceiling and 99.5 of it is completely faded.

I am going into 9th grade and it was my last day in middle school so I decided to go into the red hallway. When I went in there I looked at the wall and there were little spots of blood and when I looked at the vent in there I totally thought I saw a finger!! So I went out of there and looked at the gym wall and somebody please explain the scissors to me!!

This story has been around for YEARS! There is some truth to the legend, but when I was there my freshman and sophomore year (present high school opened my junior year), I don't remember the red hallway being haunted. The story was that after cheerleading practice, the janitor locked a girl in the school and was an epic night of terror for her. There is a main staircase in front of the cafeteria that when you come down the stairs and look at the wall, you could read "You will never escape." This had been painted over but it was still visible through the paint at certain angles. That part is the only truth that I know of to the legend.

It's near the bleachers on the side of it, at least. The door that is near the men's locker rooms just through the doors, you go down into another hallway then you go up a flight of steps, and you're there. I can explain the bleach stains, Dennis had dropped paint while he was finishing his disasterpiece and the school had tried to cover it up, mainly because the shade of red was different than the hallway's red hue. It was more darker, and blood like... So, what you are seeing is the reminants of Dennis' freaky actions. They cover the trophy case up because there is supposedly more writing by Dennis, it doesn't seem much like it needs investigation though. I really like how NMS keeps the folklore alive, they are doing a good job.

If you look up in the upstairs gym in parts, there's blood stains on the floor. The teachers do say let's not talk about it. EVERY single teacher. I'm going to ask more though. Where the trophies are there is black paper covering it. People I know have been in the hallway and said there's blood stains and bleach stains. For halloween they showed a slender man video and they were in the red hallway. The mascot used to be just a man, but now is both. By the way, where is the red hallway?

The year was 1969. And a boy named Dennis had scared the shit out of a girl named Emmy, how? The poor dude was mentally hurt and being bullied at the time, my grandmother always told me that when he tried to talk to him, he would turn his head in the opposite direction. But I asked her about it, and she said that the main gym used to be nothing but an area that had hallways, and classes. There was no gymnasium they simply headed outside for physical education. The red hallway didn't have doors at one point in time, and was connected to a normal hallway. The hallway housed 3 class rooms, one for Math, one for English, one for Earth Science. Poor Dennis, had been boiling up his anger for so long, he ended himself up in the mental hospital. He wrote these exact words, in red paint "Emmy Must Die." That's it, word for word. I still don't have any information of why he did it, and I don't want to submit any false information. My grandma says that she still sees Dennis shopping at the nearby Walmart. He still acts the same way, doesn't pay attention to anybody. When I find his full name, I will submit his and Emmy's full name. Because I know my grandmother knows both of them.

Their is woods located off Allisonville road near the entrance of sommerwood. This area is a hot spot for devil like worshippers many accounts have been reported. I have never seen anything myself but many people claim they have including my wife. I have gone to the noblesville public library to research and have found very disturbing evidence of trees burned down and a graphic history of killings in the area. Down the street towards Kensington road off allisonville was a place where the people would go to see hangings of blacks. I don't know if this is true but it's a very scary story with scary evidence

I am a junior at Noblesville High School and played on the 8th grade volleyball team. I remember going into the red hallway before a game one day with the rest of my team. The hallway hasn't been updated since the 70's, the carpet is reddish orange and the walls are slightly yellow. Once you enter the hallway and take a few steps in there is a price of cement (supposedly the object used to kill the cheerleader with). Next to the peice of cement there is a bleach stain on the carpet and walls. Across the hallway is a door (all the windows are blacked out and there is still decorations on the doors) the door was left cracked open so we peeked inside (all of us were too afraid to go inside so we just kicked the door a little). It was pitch black but we could see lots of tiny red lights on the wall (possibly a safe?). We started walking down the hallway and there were more faded spots. The old athletic office is down that hallway too. At the end of the hallway there is a stair case leading down (we don't know where and didn't care to find out) but right before that is the door to the bathroom where the cheerleader was supposedly murdered. The bathroom is CREEPY! It's dark and has a wall separating it in half (we did not go in to the bathroom because we were scared also there was a bathtub in there). Next, we heard something on the stairs, it sounded like a person walking up stairs so we took off sprinting down the hallway and out back into the gym. IF the rumor is not true why would the school not utilize the rooms for the schools growing population? Why would they not update?

It would be all over the news and you would have heard of it I promise. they would have shut down the school for at least two days. they don't want you in there because it leads right to the girls locker room. The scissors mean nothing its just art everyone just needs to chill. hi i am a kid in 7th grade that goes to Noblesville middle school now Noblesville east middle school.Yes the rumors are what everybody still talks about and yes the miller man painting does look like he has scissors in his back pocket.Even the bleach is true their is a big stain on the carpet and the place is used as storage.But the one thing that is not true is that the door is locked at all times i have been in their with my friends as we are headed to lunch.it is really messy!!

Okayy..soo today in gym class me and all my friends were talking about the "Red Hallway". We went and asked out gym teacher if she could tell us about it and she said "we're not supposed to talk about it.." If you look at the mural of the miller man and the miller girl in the main gym, you notice that the miller man has scissors hanging out of his back pocket. Some people say that the miller man is the janitor and the girl is the cheerleader.. We "accidently" rolled a ball down the ramp which leads to the red hallway, and we were way to scared to even go down that.. Me and my friends are hoping to see it this friday or next tuesday.. wish me luck guys. im hoping i come back alive.

I'm on the volleyball team, and we just went up into the Red Hallway today. The story I heard was that a cheerleader named Morgan on homecoming night was cold, so she went to grab her jacket. The janitor pounced on (raped) her and murdered her in the bathroom, then covered the walls with her blood. When we went up there the carpet was bright red, and there were faded stains of some kind that looked like bleach that they might have used to get the blood stains out. We didn't go inside the bathroom, but the trashcan was in the middle of the bathroom, and it looked super creepy. Also, the windows to the other classroms are blacked out with construction paper, except for one, which has trophies in it. When we were up there it was very creepy and I think everyone had a knot in their stomachs. A few of my friends saw a former teacher of ours and she said it was the miller man that did it, because he has scissors hanging out of his back pocket. And if you go in the gym and look at the mural of the millerman and girl above the locker rooms, you will see scissors hanging out of his back pocket... So believe what you want. I think it's true.

ok im fairly new here and just heard about this today, but i had 2 check the story out for myself. this school is the coolest school ive ever been 2! its got its own myth! i soooo wanna go in there and check it out! can you imagine being in there! im not one for superstitions but i love to pretend their real just for the fun of it!

Well I am going to the exact school right now and researched that a school janitor WAS acused of rape and murder of a 13 year old chearleader and had 20 years in prison so yes it actual happened unless you want to tell fox news wrong

Why would they lock up a hallway and seem so suspicious about it if nothing happened im going in to 7th at East Middle School. I think I might take a bathroom break by that place. Something had to have happened. That's just scary to think there could be a Janitor out there killing kids especially in an isolated town like Noblesville. I hope it's not real. I'm pretty sure Im not ready to die yet.

lets be honest, a little part of us all wish the red hallway myths were true. But the reality of it is even if something did happen we would have heard something, and there would definitely be news reports and articles.
Some say that a cheerleader named Morgan was raped up in the red hallway by a janitor. This is so false. Enough said. I have been up in the red hallway when i was in 8th grade. I am currently a junior at Noblesville Highschool and i still hear stories about this hallway. Although the hallway has an eerie feeling, i doubt anyone was killed. But that does'nt mean that the hallway is completely clear. I have a suspicion though.

I currently go to Noblesville Middle School and have been in the Red Hallway more than once. I don't think the story is real. I don't think the school uses the hallway because it is very narrow and leads right by the 8th grade girls locker room where they change for gym. If this were true people could find articles about this in the news paper from when it happened, and i dont know if you have checked recently but there is none. I'm sure the teachers set this whole thing up to scare the new seventh graders. I have asked many of my teachers about it and they don't care to talk about they just say things like 'Think what you want' and 'anything is possibly' therefore i dont think could be real, but what do i know i could be inncorrect.

its paint. get over yourselves. they do that on purpose to scare you. the teachers will tell you stuff and there is a million different versions but they aren't true. If you seriously believe that your crazy because no one would allow us to go to the school. Im being serious. Like, if that was a true story do you really think that it would give a good rep. if we went there? no so if it is true we would bbe at a different school. Also its an old storage closet and rooms. the stuff in there are desks and the reason the lighting is down because they don't want to waste electricity.

I go to Nms and I'm in seventh grade all the eighth graders say they know wear it is and Mr. Champion the gym teacher took one of his clases their and they said that it was tight and narrow and the carpet was red. Ive been below it and I could smell blood and people with me agreed so I think it's true.

My social studies teacher told me is was truee.. Here is the story he told uss..

One day after cheer practice, a cheerleader's mom was running late and a janitor said that she could use his phone but she didnt want to but he kept saying you can use it you can use it so she finally said okay and then when she was up there, he stabbed her and drug her down the stairs that are near the 8th grade acience hallway going down the lunch. But her body was never found. She was never stuffed in a vent.. And the hallway has NOTHING to do with the murderr. Its just coincedental that the hallway is red. But i went up there las night and when we opened one of the doors, there was an orange suit. Almost like a jail suit. And in the shower there was blood. And if you close the doors at the end of the hallway, they both lock. So its 100% reall.

I'm going to be a sophmore at noblesville highschool and when I was in 8th grade my bst friend & I made a promise tht when the door was open we'd sneak up there. We did. It is the creepiest place ever & I get bad vibes from it. There r huge bleach stains on the carpet & black paper on the class windows. I think its true. I almost cried b/c of the vibes it gave me :/

Just saying that yes it is true my dad was a janitor the year it happend he said that the principal gatherd everyone together and told them to not speek of it or be fired..he also said that even some teachers are scared to go in that room..i myself have been in there only once and lets just say im never going in there again...this story is true my dad said police even removed a body and my dad also said there was a janitor that never showd up to work after that again...if any of u are brave enough to go in there get some pictures or send a vid soo ppl can see the truth

I go to Noblesville Middle School and I've been in the Red Hallway multiple times...It's REALLY creepy. The only light is the EXIT light at the end of the hallway, and the office light turns on at the opposite end of the hallway...There are stains everywhere, torn carpet, and the other storage room windows in the hallway are covered with paper...What do they not want us seeing? I would love to know, but every teacher, including Mr. Rich, has said they don't want to, or cannot, speak about what happened...

i used to go to noblesville middle school and i have been in the red hallway numerous times. i am currently a sophmore and i heard the same story as all of you . it doesnt seem haunted but there is NO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE ,other then what people make up in their heads and want to believe . honestly i think there was an incident up there . But perhaps not such a murder . i do a beyond creepy vibe up there though and if you go in the bathroom its creepy .

I go to Noblesville middle school and last week the gym teachers forgot to lock the door that leads to the hall way so some of my friends and snuck out of gym class and wondered up the hallway. The story is 100% true
