In 1929 a small lake was built in Cockrum's Crossroads. At this site there are reports of full body apparitions, hearing your name called and many other odd events. There are at least three entities here as reported by paranormal investigators. There are reports of Civil War soldiers passing through and several unnatural deaths. There are several homes near this lake that report strange happenings in their homes.
