Just to let everyone know it's on 235th St East in Faribault, Take Glenview Trail to 235th St E and take the right on that road, when you see some cyloes on the left there will be a drive way there pull into the drive way and you'll see a fence with a chain on it you will have to walk to get to the adult ward and you'll se a couple old buildings there and if you want to see where the children ward is at go up farther on 235th St E and you'll see a cross on the right side of the road if you see the old denison cemetary you've gone to far the children's ward doesn't have a drive way and you have to watch your step because the building is underground and there is a hole to get in with a ladder that's there but I want to warn you ahead of time that if you take a flash light or lighter or something that gives off light it will go out when you get half way down the ladder. No matter how good your batteries are they will die out and when you go back up the light will be on. That's the only locations I know of the old insane asylum in Faribault and I wouldn't go back there period. That place is haunted and any of you that want to go there the best of luck to you. I've seen that place can do and it almost killed us.

a walk to the State hospital site proved to be NOTHING NEW
by: Anonymous

I was just out there two days ago....there is nothing haunting or scary...just part of an old farm building and nonsensical graffiti .

That's near the place where everyone dumped there trash. There's a minnie mouse doll hanging up by the neck with a chair knocked over underneath it.
