This mental hospital was built in the 20's and operated until 2008. they moved to another area of the grounds to new facility. at one time it held about 3200 patients. there is over 1800 acres that also house a minimum security prison, eastern state cemetery where patients were buried. every year at halloween there is haunted house and hayrides on the grounds there. many employees have seen and heard many unusual things. goto http://www.abandonedok.com/eastern-state-hospital/ for many pics of the place.
