Barnesville, Georgian. Corner of Piedmont Road and The Rock Road.

In 1984 a woman named Donna Johnson's body was dumped here, some say she was abducted, some say her husband murdered her. Her body was found on the dirt road to the left after you turn on the rock from Piedmont.

She was brutally sexually assaulted tied up and beaten to death. Her car was found idling at a dump site right on the corner of Piedmont and The Rock rd but her body was not found until a few days later.

Fire Station 5 is right across the street from the dirt road she was found on. Firefighters have reported screams at night and random windows fogging up with handprints.

Okay, scary part, Turn on on the dirt road, it looks like a driveway to a church but its a dead end road, park at the dead end and walk to the rail road tracks where her body was found.

People who live near by have reported screams in the woods and the rails shaking.

I live in Thomaston Georgia and know that side of Lamar County very well. The road that goes down by the Mount Zion church is Perdue Road and does not dead end, I have been down that road many times. I take my dogs riding sometimes and stop beside the church to let them play in the open field. I haven't been there in about a year now.I remember the dumpster being on the corner of Piedmont Road and The Rock road back in the day, of course it is not there anymore. I always think about that murder when I'm over that way. I did not know where her body was found though, sounds like it may have been found in the field close to the church. I don't remember a fire station being there either.I never knew who might have done this,but I'm sure people who may. I pray God provides justice for this family. 🙏

Anonymous..Are you alluding to her husband as the suspect? Surely they searched their house.Did they have marital problems..because unless he has a vicious temper it's hard to believe he would torture her. This sounds more like a criminal with sadistic tendencies.

I read somewhere she was found on Willis Road. Also, I read that she had stopped at a convenience store...Did they have here on camera there? Also, hard to believe she didn't have some DNA under her fingernails.

You have the wrong road, I lived in the area at the time and helped in the search. She was found on the road on the right near the creek if traveling toward The Rock.Her car was found next to the dumpster at the intersection.

Now i'm thankful just for best great loving to comfort of cheap college essay . There are two additional suspects; Franklin Delano Floyd, who is on death row in a Florida prison for other murderers he was convicted of committing; and Ricky Chamblee, who is serving time here in Georgia for rape, attempted rape, sodomy, kidnapping, and just being a really nasty person.

In regards to the question Where the railroad tracks are? There arent any rail road tracks. I dont ever remember any back in the 80's either. Alot has changed in that area since this murder. I have went down that dirt road beside the church in daylight with friends and it is scary as crap. My mother showed me where they found Donna's body. A few people who was in the search party, showed my mom where Donna's body was found. Go back and goodle Donna's murder and bville and pike paper has alot of info, plus the comments are also good to read. Donna's car was staged there at the dump site. New info says that she had fly larva not saw dust in her hair, which makes her death before 8 am that morning, so she couldnt have drove to the dump, she was already dead. Where are you or anyone at that early in the morning? And Who was at the house with her? That should tell everyone who got away with murder. It was a crime of hate and personal.May God bring Justice to her family & friends.

Donna Johnson body was found the same night she was reported missing. I have spent months on this case. Her car was found, then came the rain and the place where her body was dumped was searched and moments later was found in the place where it was already searched.The killer dump her while everyone was there looking for her. I have a VERY good idea who killed her also. It makes me very mad that justice hasnt came to her family. I have went to the crime sence alot and visits her grave. I never knew her, but I did grow up on Vega Rd. I have heard alot of stories and talk to alot of people about this case. May God bring JUSTICE and PEACE to her family.

This was a crime of hate. I live near here and went to that church one night. Very scary. We all know who killed her. The person knew her. and knew her very well. Read about what happen. Ask the police in b-ville why justice was never done. May God bring her killer to justice.
