Abandoned Warehouse in Stilwell KS

Me and a few buddies heard some weird stories about this warehouse that was abandoned a long time ago. This building is now in the middle of the woods behind a elementary and middle school. You night we drove up to the school and walked our way to the warehouse. We only had one flashlight and our phones. As we approached we saw tons of graffiti written all over the building. As we walked through a large opening of the building more graffiti was inside. The building was cold and empty. We walked slowly in reading the writing on the walls such as "I'm not crazy" or "get out of here!". We walked past a what used to look like a small office and as the flashlight moved past, we heard a voice saying "hey". We hauled ass out of there and didn't look back.

i was talking to my coworker today at work and i was telling a story about how im so drawn to that building and one part of the building in particular would be the loft looking out on everything he said cus he does spiritual reading my past self owned that building in 1960 and the kids that went to that school yes it was a school a middle school and elementary school and i did hear voices and my gf did too and my buddy said that in the 60s the school caught fire and the kids died inside and the parents of the kids decided to put there body's under the building and before it was a school it was a factory and he said that he saw my past self owning that building that's y im so drawn to that building and that area looking out to everything was my office and one of my employees shot me point blank when my past self turned around when he told me all of that it sent chills up and down my spine im still freaked out from what he told me

The factory is cool asf but you can sometimes feel the Erie ness of what happens there they were dumping toxic waste into the blue river and got shut down and has been abandoned since. Another really fun place to go is the school in Kansas City missouri but you have to go in from the back side and you have to be quick and nimble but always go with a group of freinds also tear down the drop ceiling bars and you can smash win downs with them it’s good fun till you hear foot steps or turn a corner and see a flashlight so get in and get out moral of the story unless you go in and chill for a bit but yah meth heads be sleeping there so I’d go at evening when it’s still light outside

i live in the area and its pretty easy to get in, although you have to walk through a field and alongside the traintracks, the area also calls the cops on people a lot. i love this place though it gives me a sense of comfort in an odd way but you always have this heavy feeling of someone watching you. me and my friend were on our way back through the field and a white truck drove through and people got out to go after us but we jumped down into the tall grass and hid. luckily we waited them out but it scared us. the building itself is two stories and its a very large and open space. i recommend not going on a rainy day like I did. I've heard stories about this room in the back called the murder room, it used to have the word murder in red painted all over on every wall. people have been murdered and raped here a lot I recommend going with a friend and in the middle of the day unless your looking for adventure. the stairs are rusty so be careful, the floors have big holes in them too. it is worth it but be aware of your surroundings

I see some people wondering what schools this warehouse is behind. The answer is Blue Valley Middle School and Blue River Elementary School. Both schools are in the Blue Valley School District. Another Blue Valley School District facility that is in the area is The Wilderness Science Center, it is a field trip destination for young kids.

Overall the warehouse is a pretty cool place. I would say it is a right of passage for Blue Valley kids who live and go to school in the area to visit there just once. I don’t recommend it though, it is on private property and isolated from any main roads, meaning if something goes wrong you won’t be able to get help. Also there are dangers making the trek there, walking in the woods without being prepared is unsafe. I went their once and it was pretty cool, just be smart and stay safe. Also try not to interact with other people who are there. You don’t know who is dangerous or not.

My buddies and I used to have paintball wars there. I don't think it's haunted though. I've heard a while ago a couple kids fell through the roof and one died. Others have said a "ghost hunter" when into the sublevel and ended up dying down there. I don't know tho the sublevel is filled water almost constantly so it would be really hard to explore down there without drowning.

Went to the Factory this weekend. Was just trying to find a spot to get western with some babes. but two cracked out fuckers had a baseball bat with nails in it and then asked me for drugs!! dont recommend getting laid there!

I believe the building was an old die casting company,not a jewelry company. They had very unsafe practices and had hundreds of barrels of contaminated sludge and runoff. the company was shut down in 1991 after a fire broke out and the firemen found all of the mess. the contaminates were different forms of cyanide, so it definitely wasn't a joke. The property will likely never be purchased again because of the runoff, and the hassle of having to tear down the building and clean up the whole area again. there are also two sludge ponds to the north of the building that I would not recommend going near, mostly because that is where they stored a lot of the chemicals.
Now for rumors.
There is a rumor that that someone committed suicide on the nearby train tracks, I found no evidence to support that.
There was a girl murdered in 2007, in Belton, and her body was suspected to have been dumped on the property, so the whole area was searched by hundreds of police 10 years after she disappeared, and the both sludge ponds were dug through with hand tools in and attempt to find her body. her body ended up being found in a different woodland in Missouri.

A friend and I went here just last Saturday. It's a very cool building. I believe it's been abandoned for roughly 25 years. It's the old Kuhlman Die Casting Plant. Lots of graffiti, big open rooms, and lots of trash around. Also some old aerial lift machinery and an old work truck on site. Offers some great photo opportunities for those looking to get some decent graffiti shots or just shots of abandoned buildings in general. We did run into a few groups of people while there. Some local teens I believe from the surrounding community. It looked to be newer development out that way, town homes, apartments, and such. Looks to be a hangout of sorts for kids. Didn't see any "No Trespassing" signs myself, but wasn't really looking either. Overall, a neat place. Just a bit more people than I would have liked running into, could run into some hazards, as with any abandoned building, rust, debris, trash, etc...Got some sweet photos for sure.

Not a bad place to go when looking for something to do. My friends and I (King Ezekial, friend Bosco, as we are known out there) go there all the time. There are usually people there when we go, and it's something every BV student does at some point or another. Really cool place.

I go to this warehouse all the time and I usually meet some very cool people there!! the last few times I've been I've seen cops, I've heard people getting in trouble for trespassing so be safe if you go! This place is really cool t take photographs if your into that, it's also just a fun place to go and explore

My friends and I went there yesterday and I recorded the full view in one of the huge, open rooms. I later went back and watched closely and slowly after we left because we heard three loud bangs behind us on the other side of a wall separating the rooms. We ran out as fast as we could and got to my car where I started to research about it but barely got anything considering it was shut down in the 1990s and they didnt have more advanced internet until later in the decade. But in the video I took, it looks like i saw three different shadows/ apparitions/ figures. I am now very creeped out and dont really want to go back. I dont know what all happened there when it was open or even after but, I want to know. If you have information about it, comment!! thanks :)

I consider myself a sort of curator of the warehouse. I visited almost weekly before leaving for college. The warehouse used to be a plant for a company called Kohlman Diecasting (the spelling is based on admittedly imperfect memory). It was closed in the 90's due to improper chemical disposal; if you had due east of the building, you can find massive pits full of contaminated runoff. There's a good chance I was the one who called out to you; I've frequently encountered fellow explorers, but almost never seen local law enforcement. There is, however, intermittent construction in the area. I believe the address is 16400 Mission Road. Feel free to ask if you want more information!

I have been here before with a couple of friends and we have heard stories about how it was a chemical power plant once and so it is unsafe because of the chemicals but I have not found any information about this to be true
